1. Queen – We Will Rock You
Definitely my all time favorite Grand Entrance song to use. It’s easy to quickly set up a loop of the intro so you don’t run into vocals. It’s classic rock so it appeals to the older demographic but the younger generations love it too because it’s such an iconic song.

2. Bill Conti – Gonna Fly Now
Who doesn’t love the theme song from Rocky and it’s energy building melody. From a DJ perspective it’s great since you don’t have to set up a loop. I know my usual rule is to never talk over vocals but there are very few words in this song and they blend right in with the music.

3. Black Eyed Peas – I Gotta Feeling
This is a song that makes you want to get up and dance. I love using this song when the wedding party wants to go right to the dance floor or dance their way into the reception hall. I usually loop the intro while I’m announcing everyone and then quickly exit the loop and let the song play.

4. 2 Unlimited – Get Ready For This
A great dance hit from the 90′s always gets things going. Loop the intro, bring down the house lights and get the DJ lights going for a high energy Grand Entrance.
